Who remembers Idaho Balsam Fir and why we love it? It's been out of stock for toooo long, but this Young Living fan favorite is back with a new name: Idaho Grand Fir. Woohoo!!! The oil, aroma, and benefits are unchanged, offering a woodsy, refreshing aroma reminiscent of a freshly cut tree. Transform your daily mindfulness practice with this grounding, cleansing aroma. Grand fir trees are native to the Pacific Northwest, and Native Americans have used them for centuries to promote a sense of well-being and the sensation of deeper breathing.

Just apply a few drops to your hands and spend 30 seconds taking slow, deep breaths or add a few drops to your diffuser when you begin your daily meditation, reflection, or prayer.

Why the name change? Until now the closest registered scientific name for this oil was Abies balsamea (Balsam Fir). Recently, the Personal Care Products Council approved the use of the scientific name Abies grandis (Grand Fir) on the label.

We now call it Idaho Grand Fir because ours comes from the Young Living Highland Flats Tree Farm in Naples, Idaho, where every year Young Living members participate in the annual Winter Harvest, allowing them to experience our Seed to Seal® quality commitment firsthand.
