Soon every store you walk into will have scented pinecones and the holiday smells will be everywhere. I know whenever I smell scented pinecones at a store I have to stop and soak it in. Instead of buying them, you can make your own with any scent you choose! Follow these simple instructions and you'll be ready to make your house or any area smell wonderful!

MATERIALS

— 2 lbs. Pinecones

Young Living essential oil of choice: cinnamon bark, clove, cedarwood, nutmeg, orange, pine, frankincense, spruce, myrrh, juniper, and/or peppermint (purchase at www.EssentialOils4Sale.com)

— Large plastic bag

— Optional: cinnamon sticks, dried orange peels, and/or eucalyptus leaves

DIRECTIONS

Place half of the pine cones in the plastic bag and sprinkle a total of 15 drops of your chosen essential oils, add the remainder of pine cones to the bag and sprinkle with another 15 drops total of your chosen essential oil. Add the optional cinnamon sticks, dried orange peels and eucalyptus leaves.

Close bag tightly with twist tie or string and shake. Let sit for 1-4 weeks, shaking the bag 1-3 times a week.
